Francesco Frati as TLS President

On November 4, Francesco Frati was appointed president of the Fondazione Toscana Life Sciences by the TLS Steering Council. Previously, Frati had been designated as a board member by the Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena. The Steering Council has also appointed Andrea Lippo Vanni, a surgeon with professional experience at the University Hospital of Siena, as the ninth member of the TLS Board of Directors.

“I am deeply honored to lead an innovative and dynamic institution like TLS,” commented Frati. “My commitment will be to enhance all of the Foundation’s activity drivers, aiming to make an even more significant contribution to strengthening the life sciences sector, in which TLS is a key player. I extend my thanks to the Fondazione Monte dei Paschi di Siena for designating me as a board member and to the Steering Council for the trust they have placed in me. I begin this new role with enthusiasm and with the hope of collaborating effectively with all TLS employees and the primary public and private stakeholders on the numerous projects and challenges that await us. Finally, I thank engineer Fabrizio Landi, my predecessor, for his work over the past ten years at the helm of the Foundation.”
